British Room
The room has a desk with a chair, a wardrobe with mirror and a chest of drawers. There are two single beds 90 cm wide and 2 m long. There is also a shared bathroom with a bath, a shower and two sinks, there is also storage space for towels and a hairdryer and hair straightener.
You can also use a kitchenette with refrigerator (including freezer), combi-microwave oven, a sink and basic small household utensils such as plates, cutlery and some bowls. Central entrance is through the front door, the rooms are located on the first floor.
Good to know
You can ask questions about the area or sights. We are ready to give you a pleasant stay. There is an option to participate in the meal. You must request this in advance. A supplement of € 15 per person is charged for the breakfast buffet. There is also the possibility to obtain a breakfast bag (2 sandwiches with ham and/or cheese, a drink and a piece of fruit) for € 6 per person.
Diner can also be obtained on request at € 16 per person, including drinks. If the weather is nice, the terrace and garden may be used. There are several quiet corners where you can sit separately or together.
We take various food allergies into account.
Rate & Rules
The room rate varies between 75 and 140 euros per night, depending on the season. It is possible to add a third bed for an extra 30 euros.
Smoking is not allowed, please go far enough outside the house to smoke.
For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed
Transport
Kiewit train station is a 10-minute walk away. From there a train leaves twice an hour to Hasselt or Genk. There is a bus stop 15 minutes' walk away. From this bus stop there are regular buses to Hasselt center.
Area
There is a bakery around the corner, known for its delicious sugar croissants. There is also a chip shop nearby. At a distance of 3 km you are in the center of the city of Hasselt and you can shop to your heart's content.
Kiewit train station is 1 kilometer from Casa Victoria, from this station a train departs twice an hour to Hasselt and Genk. Within a radius of 5 kilometers you will also find various department stores such as Albert Heijn, Aldi, Carrefour and Lidl.
For a pleasant walk you can visit the hiking area "Platwijers", this forest is located 500m from our door.
The domain of Bokrijk is also only 3 kilometers away from Casa Victoria.
Casa Victoria is the perfect base to get to various interesting locations by car. In the neighborhood you also have a petting zoo, the Japanese garden, cinema Kinepolis, indoor and outdoor swimming pool Kapermolen, Plopsa Indoor, the Ethias Arena, Corda Campus, Hasselt University, the Abbey of Herkenrode, nature domain De Teut, nature domain Holsteen, a lavender farm,...
There are many other things to discover by car, such as C-mine Genk, Kelchterhoef, Hengelhoef and Be-MINE Beringen. Maastricht (the Netherlands) is 35 kilometers from us, while Aachen (Germany) is about 70 kilometers away.
